Late last year I got a promotion \u2013 I was going to manage a team of six research analysts. Up until then, I had been part of that team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A few months in, I have learned a lot. I learned what to do and what not to do. More often than not, I learned by making mistakes. It has been a painful but rewarding journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I decided to write about my experience. Both for myself \u2013 it is so easy to forget where we started and how far we\u2019ve come \u2013 but also for anyone who might benefit from this.
